about shane young
After completing his BFA in photography at School of Visual Arts, Shane assisted some of New York's top fashion and portrait photographers as well as pursuing his own projects photographing a wide range of subjects from commercial still-life to Motion Picture stills and reportage.
Having lived in Paris and Madrid, Shane has traveled and worked in places as diverse as India and Australia and Hawaii, now lives and works in his adopted home of New York City.
Shane's love for Light and Color can be seen in both his use of natural daylight as well as his manipulation of light on location and in the studio. When not working in New York or on locations around the world, Shane can be found driving his motorcycle around the city or sailing in NY Harbor.
